About the Club
Barton Sub Aqua Club is affiliated to the Sub Aqua Association ( SAA ) and
has club number 442. We are also CMAS affiliated .
We are located in Brigg, North Lincolnshire (ex Humberside)
Our weekly training and socializing meeting night is on a Tuesday night.
We have a pool session from 20.00 until 21.00 at Brigg Leisure centre.

We meet at The Yarborough Hunt for the socializing from 21.00.
Barton Sub Aqua Club ( Barton SAC ) has 5 committee members, these are:
The Chairperson
Whose role includes:
Be the spokesperson of Barton SAC.
Preside at meetings.
The Diving Officer
Duties include:
Prepare standards of Diver training and Instruction.
Arrange the examination for Diver and Instructor qualifications and the
issue of qualification certificates.
The Secretary
Recording minutes of meetings and distributing them amongst
members.
Maintain a register of Barton SAC members.
The Equipment Officer
Whose duties include:
Responsibility for the serviceability of all club equipment.
Keeping an inventory of equipment.
The Treasurer
Whose duties include:
Keeping proper books of account of all moneys received or paid on behalf of
Barton SAC.
Arrange for all monies to be deposited in the name of Barton SAC in a bank
account.
Prepare a statement of income and expenditure for committee meetings and
AGM.
There are also 2 General members.
Club members organize diving trips / holidays that may be of interest, any
suitably qualified member will be considered for a place if they wish to go.
